I am not in accounting however when I originally started coding, I wanted to learn a skill I could do from home as I live rural. As I learned I wanted to learn more. Initially I started out in DoD services. I liked that I was beneficial in ensuring the providers got paid for the services they did. I also thrived on educating coders and providers on coding rules and regulations. I love to provide education and knowledge on the regulations and guidelines to help correct coding and billing. You don’t know what you don’t know.
