|“Public accounting has always been interesting to me as I am always learning and doing something new,” she said. “I truly enjoy working with our employees and fulfilling client expectations.”
Pontow came from a family of business owners and found Accounting to be a natural fit.
Pontow has spent her entire career at Bland & Associates, joining the firm shortly following her 2003 graduation from Creighton University, where she earned a BSBA in Accounting and a BA in French. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.
During her tenure at Bland, Pontow has progressed from Staff to Senior Accountant to Manager to Director and now Partner. She currently manages the engagements and contracts for the firm’s Government Consulting Department and has experience performing governmental, not-for-profit organizations and tribal entity audits.
