Brad Hove, Director
Government Consulting

Brad Hove joined Bland & Associates in 2017 as a manager in the Government Consulting department.  In this role, he works on the Next Generation Accountable Care Organization (NGACO) model. He says the goal is to effectively partner with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to ensure the integrity of the model by monitoring participating organizations.

Prior to joining the Bland family, Hove spent 12 years at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska.  He has spent his career navigating the health care system, developing programs, reporting on quality control initiatives, and evaluating available options to meet the needs of his clients.

He has served a variety of roles within the health care system, holding positions with both provider and payor groups. His background includes provision of direct care services, clinical supervision, program evaluation, accreditation and process improvement, as well as contracting, reimbursement, design and evaluation of value-based programs.

Hove’s background and skill set also make him a good fit to serve as the firm’s privacy officer.  His responsibilities include overseeing compliance with privacy policies and HIPAA as well as workforce training in these practices.

Hove attended the University of Nebraska-Omaha, earning his bachelor’s degree in psychology in 1999 and a master’s degree in social work in 2002. He is licensed by the state of Nebraska as a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP), a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP) and a Certified Master Social Worker (CMSW).
