|Ali Maloy, CPA, says she’s always had a passion for helping others improve their financial lives.
“If someone’s financial life is in good working order, then that person can focus on the people and pursuits that are truly important to them,” she said.
As a skilled CPA, Maloy also has a knack for explaining complicated accounting and tax issues to clients in words and visuals they can understand. To do so, she creates financial report dashboards that “bring the numbers to life” for her clients.
Maloy currently leads the Client Accounting Services division, which focuses on helping businesses and non-profit organizations succeed by taking the Accounting burden off their plates so they can focus more time on growing their businesses and expanding their programs.
Before joining Bland & Associates, she worked in audit-based roles at KPMG, Jones Lang LaSalle, Hyatt Corporation, ConAgra Foods, and Farm Credit Services of America. In 2010, Maloy established an outsourced accounting practice called Lone Tree Accounting, which merged into Bland & Associates in 2016.
She grew up in Omaha and graduated from Omaha North High School. She earned a BS in Accounting and Business Administration in 2001 and an MS in Accounting and Information Systems in 2002, both from the University of Kansas. She has held an active CPA license since 2004.
